About Oba

Oba used to be a small municipality next to the centre of Alanya, but now these days Oba seamlessly merges into the centre of Alanya. When you walk on the beach promenade from Alanya centre in eastern direction, you will really not notice where Alanya stops and Oba begins if you don't see the signs indicating the municipality boundary.

Nowadays Oba is a new district of Alanya and a lot of the new city-facilities like the new shopping centre Alanyum are located in Oba. Also the newest hospitals and schools as well as a university are located in Oba.
